I’ve had my PW running since 23 Dec 2020 (3 weeks), and in that time I’ve paid for just 25 cents worth of power. (Which in itself is weird because the battery has never been empty, and there has never been any reason to draw any power from the grid). However, it has possibly (or coincidentally?) triggered AGL to REDUCE all of my power rates (peak, off peak and shoulder) by a substantial 15% (approx). My Feed in Tarrif remains at 20c however.
The QUANT has also saved us from a string of blackouts already. Ignore the earlier 3, they were done on purpose during installation.
A previous complaint by someone not being able to access the data stored in the cloud appears to have been fixed by using the ‘download my data’ option. Find it in the QE App here : Choose the QUANT energy option > Choose any one or more of the 4 icons to display the ENERGY USAGE screen > Scroll to the bottom of the page to download your data.
The only (trivial) issue I have encountered is the storm watch function in the Custom Settings area. I have it ON, and it in the hours leading up to the big storm we had a few nights ago (15 Jan 21) the software was supposed to fill the pw to maximum from the grid – which it didn’t. (It wasn’t a problem though because we didn’t lose power, and we had about 85% battery full when the storm hit anyway. I will report this to QUANT support team , and they will no doubt fix it, if it is a problem.
To end this, I’ll also have to mention that I’m now addicted to the App, and wondered if there was a matching App for my Apple Watch, so I entered QUANT in the app search, and lo and behold, now I have access to my system instantly (I have it set up as a ‘complication’ on my watch face). A glance tells me the % full the PW is, tap it, and it shows the power flow and a swipe left shows the stats for the 4 icons (House, Solar, PW, and Grid) .

In addition the support team from QUANT here in Austria is excellent, in particular Pawel K and Woitech P they go above and beyond to assist us and our customers with any queries we may have.

The EWALL system allows us to use power we are producing in real time on sunny days, whilst charging the battery for use at night. Most devices such as tv, fridge and lights dont draw large amounts of power so the system is perfect for us, a family of 5. Using an air con or dishwasher will draw power but again on sunny days the battery and panels cover most of this.
Even better the EWALL is a system that has a compatible hot water diverter that uses extra power from the battery to heat an existing hot water system, rather than feed to the grid. Also the company has a universal car charger available for use with the system.
App is straightforward and shows production of power in real time . Easy to use!
Overall great system, simple to use, and lots of add ons that can be seamlessly installed.
Cost of EWALL HOME 60kWh system was around 16,000€ but, as power prices continue to rise, that will be paid off quickly. And great for the climate!

Habe Ende 2022 ein EWALL-System gekauft. Jetzt seit etwa 6 Monaten installiert. Liebe es. Genau das, was ich gesucht habe: um meine Probleme mit der Beschattung morgens und nachmittags zu lösen. Gepaart mit kanadischen Solarmodulen, eine himmlische Kombination. Ich bin wirklich sehr froh, dass ich den Smart Meter dazu bekommen habe. Da ich Ingenieur bin, schätze ich die Funktionalität und Qualität dieses Produkts. Und ich stehe in keinerlei kommerzieller oder sonstiger Verbindung zu diesem Unternehmen. Aber ich nenne alles gerne beim Namen, und diese Jungs sind Asse. Gut gemacht. Hervorragende Produktqualität und Vielseitigkeit. Es hat mir so gut gefallen, dass ich meinen Bruder dazu gebracht habe, das gleiche System zu bekommen.

Insgesamt sehr zufrieden mit diesem System. Ich hatte am Anfang ein paar Kinderkrankheiten, aber das Support-Personal war höflich und hilfsbereit und hat alles gelöst.
Insbesondere die Möglichkeit, die Batterie mit überschüssiger Gleichstromenergie aufzuladen, ohne den Export zu beeinträchtigen, gibt Ihnen das Gefühl, jeden möglichen Cent FiT zu bekommen.
Die Überwachungsplattform ist intuitiv und einfach zu bedienen und könnte von der Benutzersteuerung der Energieprofile profitieren, da die meisten Smarts den Installateuren vorbehalten sind.
Das Überwachungspaket auf Panelebene ist eine großartige Ergänzung, um Ihnen mehr Einblicke in Ihre Produktion zu geben.

Have had my system for nearly 9 months now and have not had any issues. Love seeing the performance of every panel. Also helps to diagnose any issues with a panel if needed. Our installer was excellent. I would highly recommend QUANT.

The Quant energy app is superb, I can see exactly how the system is performing daily whereas my friends without the QE inverter can’t do that as easily.
